Huntley Park District and Crystal Lake Force Soccer Club have teamed up to provide an indoor soccer program to keep 5 yr & 6 yr olds moving this winter. Juniors Soccer Clinic is the next level in development to the game of soccer for 5 & 6 year olds. This instructional program progresses from the Young Kickers Soccer Clinic. Coaches still apply the disguised coaching method, however, we start to work in more soccer language. Players will continue to improve basic motor skills and coordination, along with basic ball skills like dribbling, stopping, turning and striking the ball. Players will continue to focus on 1v1 and 2v2 small sided games. Each session will consist of 30 minutes of fundamentals, followed by 20 minutes of small sided games. Program meets at Union Special (1 Union Special Plaza/Huntley) on the practice field. All players are required to wear shin guards for every meeting. Gym shoes must be worn for the program.Contractual activity provided by members of the Crystal Lake Force coaching staff. (JK)
